 Why, thats my question. People these days can be so evil and prejudice its not cool. People should to be able to marry who they want Gay or not! I mean how would you like it if someone said you couldn’t mary the person you love. I know I wouldn’t like that would you?

It might make religious upset or angry but they aren’t the boss. No offense to religion but if their are gay/lesbian people who are religious they can just start their own church. I as you have probably realized am not religious so I don’t understand why churches think they rule the world. Another thing I was thinking about is most of the religious  kids in our class are against gay marriage. So one thing to think about is, is gay marriage being taught in school or in church? 

And gay marriage would help orphanages too. Sense gay people cant have babies then they need to adopt. A lot of people say “oh the kids will feel weird and get made fun of” Well I would rather have two loving gay parents than live in an orphanage. And the kids might thing there is something wrong with them if their parents aren’t allowed to marry. Ya at first kids might get maid fun of but if more gays married it would become more normal, don’t you think? 

My mom said if gay marriage passes “it could be paving the way for the future.” I believe her I mean if we pass it then more states might pass it and America would  become stronger and more united. I’ve also heard people say “What if they could get married with the same benefits just call it something different” well that still isn’t fair why can’t they call it marriage. If we pass this law gay people might be more put down and unaccepted. Maine might become more mean to gay people and Maine is usually know for being fairly kind. That could all change.
